CAMFA Rebel Night
March 14, 2009
CAMFA, with the help of the Red Deer Rebels, hosted the TELUS Community
Table during the Saturday, March 14, 2009 final regular season game.
Great fun was had by all, as information was passed out to potential
future stars and parents alike. Two
Edmonton Eskimos were able to attend, Ron McClendon and Patrick Kabongo, and
they put on a wonderful show for all their fans.
Thanks again to Greg Thompson and the Red Deer Rebels for setting
this up. Don't forget to sign up for
Spring Camp coming up May 25-29, 2009.

Red Deer Pee Wee Football Player Sharpen Their Skills at University Camps
February 2009
Several Players including Ben Pasiuk, Owen
Smith and Brayden (the tank) Wagenaar attended the University of Alberta's
off season camps this winter.
Brayden, a lineman, worked a lot on stance and proper technique using the
legs more for power, not just the upper body.
Owen, a speed demon at running back, underwent testing on several drills
including jumping and speed work.
Owen had a chance to meet some players from Mill Woods whom he played
during the provincial finals last year.
Owen remarked how nice the kids from Mill Woods were and how he can
not wait to play them again this year!!!
Other Red Deer players including Sam Vesely and Matt Partridge are planning
on attending the University of Calgary Football Camp this July.
Sam has been quoted recently as saying "I wish football season
started tomorrow, I am ready to go!!!".
If you are interested in the University of Calgary camp, please check
out their website and sign up... its lots of fun.
